BLUEBERRY PICKING

July is blueberry season in Pittsburgh and the 2023 crop did not disappoint.  Our day in the berry field began with cool fresh morning air in the netted berry field.  Our pails were full before the heat of the day arrived.  When our work was done, we moved on to the visit the farms market where we strolled thru the fresh produce and took a break for a wine tasting right there in a corner of the store.   Our day wrapped up with a friendly lunch on the patio of the nearby Trolly Stop Inn restaurant.
