Wednesday, September 2 – Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve – 614 Dorseyville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15238 Please arrive by 10:00 am, we will start promptly at 10:15 am and bring a brown bag lunch. 10:15 a.m. Program: "Landscaping with Native Plants" Native plants play a vital role in supporting our local ecosystem. Chris Kubiak will share how to assess your property and develop a strategy for incorporating native plants into your home. Business meeting and our brown bag lunch will follow the program. Parking is limited so please carpool if possible.
Tuesday, September 15th & 29th – 9 a.m. Fall Clean-Up at David Council Park!
Wednesday, September 16th– Field Trip to Bayernhof Museum 10:00 am. 225 St Charles Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. There are two additional spots available for this field trip. Please contact Kate Colville if you are interested in joining us. As a reminder, the cost of the tour is $10.00, payable by CASH ONLY. Following the tour, we will enjoy lunch at the Cornerstone Restaurant and Bar at 301 Freeport Road in Aspinwall. Carpoolers will depart from Ross Park and Ride at 9:20 am.

Wednesday, October 14th - Tour of Maxo Vanka Murals at St Nicholas Church, 24 Maryland Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15209. Mark your calendars for a one-hour guided tour of the powerful Maxo Vanka murals, exploring their history, symbolism, and themes of faith, war and immigration. Lunch will follow at Burghers Brewing Company, 400 Grant Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15209.
