Members donate non-perishable food throughout the year and collect school supplies, new coats, hats and mittens in the fall, plus household cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items for needy families in our area.

COAT DRIVE

September 1 - October 16

We're collecting and distributing new coats to children ages infant to 18-years-old.

New hats, scarves, and gloves are also being accepted. Gift cards to purchase coats are also greatly appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at any of our three offices, or you can order from our Amazon Wish list and have the coats shipped directly to us.

Donations may also be taken to the October meeting and Kate Colville will deliver to NHCO. Kate Colville will deliver coats, etc. to NHCO. Check website at a later date for details.

You can order items from our Amazon Wish List or Walmart Wishlist and have them sent directly to NHCO.

THANKSGIVING ON EVERY TABLE

October 17 - November 9

Every year, NHCO distributes hundreds of complete Thanksgiving dinners to families in poverty, hardship and crisis. You can help by holding a collection or donating any or all of the following items to help those in need have a full dinner.

Items for a complete Thanksgiving dinner include:

• 1 large box stuffing mix  

• 1 large box instant mashed potatoes

• 1 15-ounce can of cranberry sauce or yams

• 2 16-ounce cans of vegetables

• Any dessert mix 

• 1 box of muffin mix

• 1 grocery certificate for $20+ for turkey

• 1 package of turkey gravy mix 

Donations may also be taken to the October meeting and Kate Colville will deliver to NHCO. Kate Colville will deliver coats, etc. to NHCO. Check website at a later date for details.
