Wednesday, September 3 - 12:00 Program - "Tomato, Tomato, Tomato" Exploring the tomato three ways. Tasting and rating tomato varieties sourced from farmer's markets and member gardens, discussing and sharing favorite tomato recipes and tomato stories, tips, and storing/canning methods from members and guests.

Thursday, September 4 - District IX Annual Meeting, Hosted by Shaker Garden Club at Wildwood Golf Club, 2185 Sample Road, Albion Park, PA 15101. 9 am - Registration/Coffee, 10 am - Annual Meeting, 12 - Luncheon Buffet/Raffle, 1 pm - Program - Steve Roth, Master Beekeeper will present "The Business of Bees"

Wednesday, September 17 – Field Trip – 10:00 a.m. – Bedner's Farm and Greenhouse Tour, 315 Coleman Rd, Mc Donald, PA 15057. 724-926-2541. Tour of the greenhouse and garden areas. Afterwards we will be able to sample some of Russ Bednar's Passiflora Springs Wine. The winery name comes from Russ and Melanie's love for the passion flower. The cutting garden will also be open if anyone wants to take a fresh bouquet home. Free time to stroll and make purchases.
